A dragon lunged across the morning sky
Vapourising the rain with its fire.
The sun is now shining
The clouds have spun away
Thank you dear dragon, do stay for a few days.
Settle things down a bit seasonally
The weather is not behaving too correctly.
This blow hot, blow cold is a bacterial bother
All around are fevers and coughs and sneezes to smother.
We’d like to enjoy the spring for a bit and will accept the scorching summers when they come.
We can so do without the moody showers, the make us ill and glum.
Stay for a bit dragon. Shoo away the weather’s moods. Make it remain as spring.
Enjoy the flowers in bloom. Happily make us sing.
